Hello Everyone! Ok. So I decided to give this whole blogging a shot, figuring it would be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends. Considering that our nearest family member is a two hour plane ride and half of them live across the pond:)
So I guess I ought to catch everyone up: Jamie and I are living up in MN now. He was offered a promotion up here with his company, Lifetime Fitness and I JUMPED (literally) at the opportunity to work in a design city. I'm working for a small firm here in Minneapolis, which is really nice. We've got two little ones: Brandi, our 65 pound rotti and Bailey our 15 pound poodle mix...i'm sure we'll have pictures to come. They are quite the pair! They are also our "practice kids" my motto is if i screw them up they can't go blame their issues on me to their shrink. And lets face it I can be a little bit of a perfectionist so...practice makes perfect as mom would always say.
Most weekends we spend trying to chill out or going to the dog park. Autumns here which means I'm trying to steal some time to pick back up my knitting and baking (it's a seasonal thing, i guess). Other than that we're pretty boring! I know I've got you hooked now:) hahah. Ok. well thats it for now, talk to ya'll soon!

It grandma Birney, sure do miss you guys. Hope you make it home for Christmas, but who knows. Your mom is coming down sunday and bring a loan of things to me.
Guess what today is Jays birthday, can't believe that boy is 19. I rem. when you kids were little guys and I was taking care of you all from time to time. Now I take care of three little dogs, which is my babies.
I am doing ok, I guess.

Wow, isn't this the same concept as myspace? You know, the one you hardly ever use. I'm just giving you a hard time cause I can, you've gotten much better at myspace, but I'm assuming that that may change now that you've got this going. This is more of a personal 'look at us' type deal...Very cool. I like. I just better not be ignored on the other now! I love you guys. Cute picture too, Lauren you look so cute in suits like that! Who's counting down the days for me to come visit..?!?! Haha, apparently ME!
I agree with Jess you look great in the picture. We all miss our Sunday afternoons in Hamilton but I look forward to making more memories soon. I guess I will have to come see you guys soon, so look for Meg and I to show up one weekend before Christmas. Talk to you soon.

Good idea, cheaper than the phone but don't use it as a substitute though ....!
The time you spent over here this summer went far too quickly, I will have to try and sort something out about coming over next year.
Now Simon is now the traditional impoverished student at Uni this site should be a good way of keeping in touch fo him.. (reading this Simon?....)
Will give a call one weekend anyway, things much the same as ever here miss you both like mad.

Hey guys,
You look great! How is it in Minneapolis? Can you believe its been two years since we graduated, its weird seeing everyone working real jobs. I'm doing well, and hopefully going back to school, so i wont be working much longer. Well I hope you guys are doing well, and i will try and stay in touch better than I have been.
